All law schools are looking for students who are motivated and who have taken the time to properly research their chosen profession. Prospects in the City is able to help with that preparation by offering students real experience with real legal professionals in London.
Our unique two day intensive programme will cover all aspects of the legal profession and students will learn first hand what it is like to work as a barrister, corporate lawyer, criminal solicitor and legal executive. Students will have the chance to visit the Old Bailey, Royal Courts of Justice, Lincoln’s Inn and Temple, as well as some of London’s top Law Firm’s including Gibson Dunn and Crutcher, Eversheds, Wedlake Bell and Travers Smith Solicitors.
The programme will also cover the UCAS application procedure, how to shine at university interviews, and resources that can help.
The programme is aimed at students in Year 11 and 13 and will provide information that will improve their chances of getting a place on a legal degree or improve their chances at interview.
Legal Careers in Practice will provide students with the practical experience necessary to improve chances of selection.
The programme will be run by legal professionals, university admissions tutors and specialist careers advisers
